I think there's gonna a logical explanation for the "disappearance" or integration. Like the psychiatrist guy who rightfully concerned when uke said "the alter 'disappeared" And told him to get to the hospital ASAP.
i mean yes this yaoi is not the best as portraying DID but it does done better than the rest on the market rn, it helps people to acknowlegdee the illness and how to act with the people that do have DID and i. dont think theyre using this just as ''plot device'' because it actually helping people understand more. Theres plot holes and stuff that is wrong like an alter just ''disappear'' but imo its way better. than portraying people. with DID is all psycopaths
