Tbh it still feels very platonic to me anyway.
It's not like the guy wanted a physical relationship with the groom so that's why it didn't register as "like" for him
I really like this and all, but I was sorta disappointed they had to make "no you loved him all along ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ". I was so happy to see this was about how important friendship can be and that he just wanted to keep that close relationship. I've had those kinda friendships, and they rarely get represented. Him having feeling for his friend changes the meaning ya know. I just wish they would have made him realized he liked his friend romantically all along.
