This was not about Hajin and what he said. Of course, Hajin is hurt and jealous. Which of course Hangyum misunderstands. I don’t see him being lovey dovey toward her, even Woojae notices who Hangyum is actually lovey dovey toward. He is only dating her to stop the rumors, Hajin and Woojae even state that. Maybe we are not read the same manhwa, I don’t know what your reading.

Did Hangyum need to kiss the girl? NO. Did Hangyum need to date the girl, even? NO. Did Hangyum talk things out with Hajin afterwards? NO.

I guess it’s more apt to tell Hangyum to quit playing the martyr (instead of you) when he did so many things to make Hajin misunderstand him as well in the first place.

Hangyum did try to make him jealous, kiss a girl, dated her to smash the rumors. I wished they did talk but Hangyum did not have to explain to Hajin, (I WISHED HE DID) but they were not dating. Hajin never really expressed his feelings. Hangyum did what he thought was best which was not the best. Hangyum did what he feel would remedy the situation, not known Hajin had feelings for him. He did to protect Hajin. Hangyum is doing things to make Hajin misunderstand, and Hajin is doing things for Hangyum to misunderstand.

Just because someone does something stupid for a good reason, should never equal them being mocked and laughed at when they get heartbroken see chapter 21.

When He talked about breaking up with his girlfriend, I was getting angry but it took a few minutes to release he was actually talking about me. He did not have to talk to me indirectly but he did because he could not talk about it directly. It hurt him too bad. He did not have to this or that but that is his character. We got to understand the characters and their actions from their perspectives and the culture they are from. It will not make sense from my culture, (USA).

I can see both views of Hangyum. I can understand your frustrations but this is a Korean story with Korean characters with Korean social norms and way of doing things. We all have different perspectives even in the same culture. It is what makes the world go around. We all can not think the same.
However, I will never understand laughing at someone getting hurt even when they caused it and misunderstood what was really be saying. (like he was jealous, hurt, angry, and upset since he did have feelings for Hangyum)

Hangyum and Hajin was not dating then nor did Hangyum knew how Hajin felt about him. If he knew, I believe he would had took different actions and talk to Hajin about but there is no reason to talk to Hajin about when they were not a couple. Hajin just is discovering himself and has told no one. if he said he was just using me would out him, maybe he is not really for that. Hajin likes to hide his feelings. He maybe using Juri and hurting her, but she hurt them. Not saying it is right for him to do that. I just saying Juri help cause it. Juri should never spread the rumor in the first place.
Really thinking about it, Hajin and Hangyum needs to learn to shut the doors.
