Unfortunately they made both Jen and Janin very one dimensional - plot point characters. Now is DEREK and/or RYAN was there we'd have a shitshow.
Yeah, it's a missed opportunity tbh...they could be a good supporting character esp. to give Ed some insights about McQueen and his work/company cos as for now Ed only had these insights from Ryan's pov (couldn't remember if Derek ever give one) which painted McQueen as this super asshole dude who'll ruin everything & everyone
KInda bothers me how Jen & the gang didn't pick up the intense vibe between McQueen & Chang & instead insisted on staying, idk i think they should be able to pick that up given that they knew McQueen for so long (& the fact that he looked so pissed)
