I don't think a person will just give up and die. no one wants to die no matter what and you can't really judge her only on her will to live and survive, there is nothing wrong with that. she is been useud and threatened, of course she lose some rationality. who will stay calm in that situation after been starve, threatened, having no one to turn too to help.

I'm not a fan of her but she still better than the asshole prince. I don't think she wants Erin dead, she was in love with him and he hurt her. of course, she is mad and says some dumb shit but I doubt she ever can touch him. I think she still in love with him, even after all he did to her and was super cold to her. the prince is still the worse of the two, hands down
She's literally held onto him and clinged to him fully knowing he wanted nothing to do with her. Plus he didn't hurt her. He simply stated he didn't like her. Though yes he did also state he disliked her whole family for being manipulative and fake. Him not liking her back isn't hurting her. That's being desperate. No one is required to date you just because you like them. Everything was her own fault. She knew from the beginning he didn't like her yet she still followed him, still held onto him and still bothered him. He did nothing to her. But yes the Prince is very well the worst hands down ^_^
did you forget they were supposed to be married and he abandons her for the war and breaks their engagement? no matter what you say, he could have done it in another way. and she was in love with him, it's not just for money.

Did you forget they weren't supposed to be married and it was arranged and set up by her father to manipulate and trick the Duke but he caught on quickly and cut ties. He never liked her. Never. She knew this too. Again just because SHE loved him doesn't mean he has to love her back. It's not about her. She's not entitled or special. That's manipulative and pressure. She has no right to be upset when he never liked her. That's her issue not his or anyone elses. It's life and she needs to grow up and get over it.
"cancel it another way" um there is no other way. If you don't like someone then you cancel it. There is no other way. You can't force someone into a marriage they don't want and never wanted. The Duke has said it so many times and she refused to listen. Again as I said before the Prince is indeed the worst but the Duke did nothing wrong and Palladine is disgusting and deserves to rot.
Even if she's being forced she should know if she killed Erin Rowan will just hate her even more!! That won't make him like her at all!! In fact HE would probably KILL her himself if she killed Erin!! Her options are to 1) don't kill Erin and get killed by Crown Prince 2) kill Erin and get killed by Rowan. Wouldn't she rather die in the hands of Rowan at least?!?! She is lucky Rowan showed up and she has a small leeway to excuse and explain herself by saying she was forced and ordered by Crown Prince.
She makes no sense. And clearly Erin is married to him and she clearly sees how Rowan treats her, for her to say "what do you know?!" makes NO sense. She's the one who knows nothing. This also would have been a good opportunity for Erin to say "he wouldn't have married you anyways. It was a forced arrange marriage. If he never bough you luxury items then while you were engaged, what makes you think he'd do it now." To at least try to wake her up.
She's completely contradicting herself and tunnel visioned it's scary. I don't pity Lady Palladine, she's a terrible person and I want her to rot. But at least come to her senses and just be an evil person, not be evil and delusional refusing to acknowledge her actions and errors. Killing someone isn't going to earn you kindess or love.
