I think it was also confusing because extreme perspective are hard to draw, so like u said the way the artist drew the sword looked weird. I finally got it while reading the raws, since I was more focus on the images.

Thanks for clarifying that because I was so lost on why she was killed but now it makes sense lol
I had to read it slowly a second time to understand that the maid threw a knife, Tia caught it and threw it back.
It was very confusing, the knife look like a mix between a katana and a sword so I didn't understand right away what it was.
Also there is no anticipation drawing (like the maid knife in hand ready to throw it), no lines to indicate movement and the end of action drawing isn't clear at all (you can see the maid's hand before her but the angle is bad so you don't really get that she is in a position, hand stretched, after throwing something)
