Understandable but that's why the author should have spent the time developing the characters so we know them better. I still know close to nothing about both aside from their social behavior with friends and what they like for sex
THIS. Why the plot is soooooo poorly written other than it's attention to detail and an audience bent on saving it by sheer indulgence. The characters are soooo hollow if you even bother to look at past the pretty veneer.
Most of us hate on Chan woo or MD, or both. It's because we judge them on their behaviour, not their intentions. We don't know their backstory, their entire though process. I am sure all of us, sometime in life has hurt someone because if our own emotions. It is impossible to be a perfect human being.
