Here's what went on, so far. Even from high school, the ML and FL were already together. Then , out of nowhere, the ML broke up with FL, the reason being he was already tired of her, and then got together with that girl . The other guy comforted her, became her fiancé, and then , on the day of the wedding, he died.( Although, so far, readers still don't know the cause of his death, and then later, we find out he's alive, and " following " her activities, together with her " assistant " ) . The question is, how can the ML tolerate the fact that the girl he supposedly loves to death is with another man for 5 years ? If that was me, I'd be totally miserable to imagine my love loving another man to the point of getting married. So where does that take him? And it's so perplexing that in public, he shows his "love " for his girlfriend, stays together with her for five years, and , in fact, has promised her he'll be with her FOREVER !
So, what's wrong with that situation? Out of nowhere, the FL decides to seek the ML's help to find the cause of her groom's death, and out of nowhere, the ML is able to tie the FL to him , FOREVER, or until she finds the cause of his death. This is so perplexing in so many levels. Firstly, in public, and in private, he is with another woman, with a promise that it will be forever. Then , secretly, he is with the FL, and they are sleeping together, like husband and wife. So, what's wrong with this situation? Who is the "other" woman? The GF or the FL ? he has already declared the GF will never get his love, but it doesn't mean they don't sleep together, right? Guys can get it up, even without love. I assume he sleeps with her too. This situation is so stupid.
