At this point I just read the comments on this manhwa to lose the last shreds of my faith in humanity lmao

On another note, both Chiwoo and Kyujin had their glow-ups here, and they seem happier too which is the best (⌒▽⌒)

well technically he didn't rape him he just pushed him and intended to do it but then stopped i mean his action were still bad cause he still gave Chiwoo the scare of his life and traumatized him but he didn't rape him

Umm, nope I'm pretty sure he raped him, there was no scene but it was implied

Nah, the author confirmed it. It did happen, it just wasn’t shown. The point was that no matter how good they could’ve been together, that one event ruined whatever chances of that happening.

But when ? when he pushed him on the table he just looked at him then got up and got framed for murder and i'm not defending him i said that what he did was still wrong even if he didn't rape him i'm just saying that following the logic of the scene shown he didn't rape him but i don't know if the author said it then it happened and it's fucked up sure

what i think was implied is that he abused him and traumatized him by trying to rape him i don't think that after the accident and when he went to the hospital doctors didn't notice he was raped and thus made an investigation anyways i'm just saying what i think is true but u can think otherwise nothing is clear cause there was no clear mention of it in the actual story so it's fine if we interpret it differently

That WAS when it happened — it just got cut because it’s not an R-18 manga. The author confirmed it in the post-series notes.

ugh i really hoped he didn't i honestly don't want the mc to get hurt like he didn't deserve it and he's really strong to still be able to face him and tolerate his presence.. i didn't accept the idea of the rape at first cause being forced to be in the presence of the person who raped you and study and sit with him in the same classroom and getting confessed by him constantly is really the worst.. and now i really hope he won't have to deal with him ever again tho i don't think it will happen

That other guy really did rape Chiwoo, the author confirmed it. It just wasn't explicitly shown because the other manhwa isn't r-18. Chiwoo's so traumatised by him for that reason and the fact that he beat him so badly.

I came to read the comments to see whether people would be talking about Chiwoo and Kyujin but I see more people bending over backwards to defend that other guy it's just strange. All the comments about how "he deserves happiness" "deserves love" puts a bad taste in my mouth, do they realise that they're talking about a rapist? Hoping someone gets love and happiness is way different from them 'deserving' said love and happiness. I think it's fine to like him for his character without justifying his actions, or to simply like him for his character design, and to hope that he redeems himself and become a better person, hell I'm behind that too. It's always nice to see morally bad characters become a good person, and while I didn't want him meeting Chiwoo again, it was still nice to see him mellowed down which gives me hope. But I've seen some comments saying "he didn't do anything wrong" and seriously trivialising something like rape and abuse to "everyone makes mistakes" is baffling to me. You can like a morally bad character for his bad traits too, it's your prerogative, but please don't try to justify his actions.

Also, while people have the right to feel bad about him being in a loveless marriage(it hasn't been confirmed yet and I haven't read the raws and I don't think that's going to be the case but the talks are in the comments), they forget that the other person is getting married to someone who has raped and abused people, if I were to feel sorry for anyone, that'd be the fiancée(if she existed at all).
