Maybe is on a 50 base. For example, in my school, the highest grade was 5.0 and the lowest was 1.0, if you got a 3.0 you passed, because you only failed if you got 2.9 or lower ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

maybe its score wise rather than percentage? like 30/60 instead of 30%

Well, my primary school used to have a passing grade of 40 so 30 isn't too much of a stretch. (Even if it's ridiculously low)

My school.Scores under 30 considered as fail.30/100 is barely on the line.
