None of the group took that harshly. They had considered it but people has complained with what you suggested.
There are 4 or more native English speakers doing this . And they are changing sentences for clarity and saying what is actually said next to it. explaining what is meant next to it is not changing.
If you check your email. I listed a few things they will stop doing. There are a few things they are doing now that will stop soon because this is new to everyone. But a few things will not.
They appreciate the feedback and did not take it harshly. Thank you for considering their feelings and they will try to readjust or change things.

Sorry Mangago settings don’t allow you to see them. Also, After a few situations I learn to never trust those.
i will start this off by saying i very much appreciate the fan translators’ work and i do not mean anything ill against them, but please stop explaining every single thing. i can’t speak for others, but it ruins my immersion in the story. when you translate, you sometimes have to take creative liberties as not everything in korean makes sense in english and vice versa. you can rephrase things as long as they mean roughly the same. small lessons in the direct translations are not necessary. if it is an important note, it can obviously stay, but if it’s a long note, i personally think it’s better to just put a * and refer people to the end of the chapter so as to not ruin the immersion too much. but maybe that’s just me.
