I don't think it's just that they are dissatisfied with MC's success.
It's because MC's success leads to the downfall of business for these 2 lands(?idk how to call them lol). Mostly the bad businesses of assassination and so on.
MC is taking adventurers, which makes the cities of these guys to become more dangerous with more monsters along with less business since adventurers stay in hotels and get food plus potions/antidotes, and merchants, since Cribia became more safe and more populated i.e. more customers to buy your sh*t
So these 2 armies want Cribia to fall so they can get their power and wealth back, along with reaping whatever benefit they can from MC's hardwork.
Is the MC the lord of ronella or cribia???
