Thats not true in real life and only happens for plot drama purposes. Parent cannot pass debt to a child, but possible only up to inherretance. Yakuza or gang debt collector are almost inexistence now a days....

Asian parent are more compassionate than you thought, they will even provide daily finances for their 30+ daugther or son
(including son's family)... Yup they consider Them a baby no matter how old ther son's are. (except japan though)
Wow are all parents in Asian countries like, lets raise a debt and fuck my kids when i die. (so many stories about parents having debts which they never pay of themselves) or pressure them in having grandchildren cuz, your child's happiness comes second to yourself.
