And it's devastating when your parents guilt trip you like this. Most Asian countries treat children and grand children like a retirement plan. If you don't want to get married, people treat tou like you're becoming a weight to your parents
Or call you a failure or a deviant despite being successful... It's like they make it appear as if having a career and being successful is all for the "future" family that we'll build as if it is like One piece, the grand price~
Get married...
Have kids...
Have grandkids...
Die happy?...
It's awful when people force this in you...
It's suffocating... It's like it's a demand to get married and have kids...like a brand that has to be obtained to be called "normal".
