    She chickened out mid way deciding the chemicals might not be good for the baby, then had the half died hair chopped off (but you think a skilled stylist could still have done something better than THAT).

    I wasn't so impressed with that move, but I guess the author wanted to really emphasize the hero loved for her heart and not her looks.

    I loved it. It made me think of Pippa from "The Frenchman's Love-Child," a royal babe of goddess moxie-ness who totally thrashed and owned an Harlequin typical ML like it was cool. I still love Sam as an Anti-Harlequin heroine of great character.

    Yeah, and I liked that this story stressed love based on inner beauty, not the outer.
