I know! I thought about my 3 dogs that have passed through the years! It's so hard and I'm sorry for your loss.

Tbh you reminded me of those women that would rlly hit their kid a lot just bc their toddler broke their makeup or something not knowing qhat they were doing.
Accidentally disliked, sorry... True, rather than dogs, I love cats. They keep destroying sofas and chairs, biting my chargers and earphones, and stealing food from the dining table, but I still love them.
Why? I never hurt my dog in any way he died of natural causes. I was just making a joke at the end there because my dog was a bit naughty as a puppy and even if I did not get upset other pet owners may have and so... yeah it was just a joke at the end.
No worries. Cats are also really adorable but a family member of mine is allergic to cats so I could never keep one. When my dog was a puppy he destroyed a lot of my stuff too like peeing on my clothes, furniture and pulling/biting cords etc... actually really funny stuff yet he was too adorable to scold and after some training got over his destroying habits.
The last part of your comment simply reminded me, not that YOU did it or anything, you just mentioned a thing and I found it similar to that so it reminded me, just something that came up

This Christmas chapter just made me cry buckets, my Golden Retriever/Chow Chow mix was 18 (human years) when he passed on to doggy heaven a month ago. ╥﹏╥ ╥﹏╥ ╥﹏╥
Just care, appreciate and most of all love your pets (even when they destroy your priceless/expensive stuff).
