I've seen the raws n I think he hv a tragic story behind why hes being the way he is?.. I just presume it like tht by the toons.. I'm sorry if I'm wrong #－.－)
I don't think it means condoning a character's actions just bc one likes em. It can mean that they find the character's story arc, etc. interesting.
