Actually, he is one of Rykell's "best friend" (Rykell will never admit it, though), and he got the same "chain" as Rykell. he is very kind to Maybelle, and always brags about his wife and son.
but yeah, he is annoying XD. Rykell's rival (Duke of the West) has eccentric personality, too. when the 3 of them gathered in the same room = CHAOS.
Von Kyle's son will become another male lead candidate after Abel and Bellerophon.
Ugh... I was hoping it will not be a story with a freaking many male lead candidate because it's not fun and will be annoying. Not hating it or anything, just not my thing.
ahahaha... the novel still ongoing, and the romance will start in 3rd season (Maybelle 14 y.o). the 1st and 2nd season focused on Maybelle's relationship with her father and learns about her mother's history.
her main goal doesn't change at all. she wants to free rykell from the chains.
I read the novel, and the growth of Father and Daughter is the most interesting factor for me XD. Rykell really changes for the better (he smiles and laughs often in Maybelle's presence in 3rd season)
