Maybe it won’t leave because you don’t believe you should be happy which is something I went through myself after my dad passed away I didn’t feel like I could or should ever be happy after he left, which is wrong we all deserve to be happy.
I hope the sadness you are feeling now will go away soon cause you deserve to be happy.
Wow you hit the nail on the head! My situation is pretty similar to yours. Objectively speaking, I know you are right. But, I don't feel like I have the right to feel happy.
