It's not that really surprising. Yuan always go to Huan Wen first. Just like how Huan Wen didn't tell anyone about him moving to his apartment and then at night Yuan was there waiting for him. Yuan always hangout to Huanhuan's apartment too (see the previous chapters). It was Huan Wen who never take the initiative to do something. Tho, I kinda understand how hard it is for him as it wasn't easy
Were you? I mean Yuan is very diligent and brave. He always goes forward. Like he went and confessed his feelings to that girl in a live concert and has always being the one that pushes his relationship with Huan Wen forward.
Actually Huan Wen is the one I'm always waiting to hold back and don't take the initiative.

Although of course Yuan as a charachter is someone that has taken initiative in the past, in accordance to typical manga tropes and especially the slow paced development of this manhua I wasn't expecting for Yuan to actually go see him soon. Instead I was prepared for a misunderstanding like 'he's not answering my calls so he must be upset with me' and then follow a 10 chapter angst arc. Glad that didn't happen ┗( T﹏T )┛
