from the eng trans that I've read on Instagram, the emperor is super annoying (he never does ANY work and is very childish and tries to separate the concubinefrom the empress even though they're friends and always tries to start shit with the empress and constantlyblames her) .. the concubine isn't a bad person at al, she's super nice and wants the empress and emperor together and the empress is strong physically and she always acts in front of the emperor as hurt (bc he favors the concubine) and calls him handsome even though she doesn't like him that much
