Exactly, dont become a parent if thats how you’re gonna treat your kids.
Because when she was giving birth to them, she wasn't giving birth to kids, she was giving birth to the future emperor and his stepping stone. She never thought of them as her kids. I'm sure that if the son was a weakling and gave up on becoming an emperor she would've beaten the shit out of him.
