Tot I was hallucinating. Did a spider attack someone right next to that douch of a father who didn't notice?
I think they’re actually connected... like the spider is acting as a parasite and making the mom do the sewing
that may be the case.. knowing that the family's secret contract with the demonic beasts, they must have plenty of other things hidden and if we look back to how people thought Ewey didn't resemble her family at all they shrugged it off as the royal family's blood by chance but that wouldn't quite explain why she was so easily neglected as a child prior to her being tested for the ability. She must have a different mother than her sister which would explain the lack of care and the poor unfortunate lady(?) we saw connected to the spider must be like what you said, the host Σ(っ°Д °;)っ
Yes I think it's a parasite situation where its sapping her energy.
She doesn't look like them but maybe that lady getting attacked by the spider is her mom both are blonde.
