your very one-sided in your view. The redhead was concerned for her friend, shes the one who took her to the hospital and was angry at the guy for her bff's sake. After all that was over, then she addressed the situation. How for her it was depressing that he was very protective of their friend but didn't care for her over the past few weeks. But guess what it is fine because they talked it out.
They talked it out but at the end of the day she basically told him to stop treating her so closely when he told her he only sees her as a sister. If you cant trust your partner than you should break up with them.
She's flawed, but she did not once tell him to stop treating the BFF so closely, merely upset the boyfriend was not treating her with the same concern. If your boyfriend is making it hard to trust him then you should break up. It takes two to tangle.
