Yuri is the reason they are having a duel, so he wouldn't be able to deny that she is more expensive than whatever he has. Melissa already refused to duel with Yuri as a price., because Yuri is not an object and they need her consent to do that So they are dueling over who gets to stay in the estate (the loser has to leave) But skills and labour can be bought with money, so it is a commodity. Yuri is an excellent mage who can even reattach limbs. She is extremely educated too (like scholar level) So she is pretty expensive
Yuri is expensive but she is the judge of the duel. If Yuri's capability is used by Melissa as her trump card, she will have to compare herself to Melody's item. It would be unfair (which can be used by Melody as a way to turn the duel to his favor)it would also tain Melissa's honor as someone who sees people not by their abilities but by who they are. She wouldn't stoop so low if she wishes to maintain her principles.
Eh scratch that last part. Melissa can be conniving and manipulative. But she's not the type to bestow a price to a person she sees as someone important.
I think the only issues would be Rule 3 and the condition for rematch. Yuri is easily qualified for the other 4 rules. But she might not be as expensive as whatever ancient national treasure Peacock has. There is nothing unfair about this though. Noblity often gift and/or bought armies, knights, mages, servants, artisans etc to each other. The individual person isn't the one being sold, their skills are. The value of her skills would be compared to the price of Melody's item.
Nine is so precious. Also that bird I knew he was gonna cheat. Though I have a feeling that maybe Melissa will bring something else but yeah I may be wrong.
