it’s because she’s competent, though she has to be protected a little bit she’s not all weak and she dose t make stupid decisions based solely on emotion. she’s rational and smart so her servants believe in her power and don’t belittle her for being a women or weaker. she’s relatable but smart, they keep the flow of comedy and drama perfectly done and there is no intense romance that takes over the story causing the female to be dumb and make stupid mistakes
You are SOOOO right. It is without the usual shoujo/josei manga formula. Honestly, this comic made me realize that I’m so sick of those tropes.
This is the first time I’ve read a shoujo/josei manga in which the FL is really written really well. I mean yes, we have strong female leads, but there’s something different about this one.
This is like those shounen manga stories/plot but with a female lead <333
