I'm starting to see more into the mom's character. It feels like to me she was constantly abandoned and thrown aside with her beauty being her only saving grace. She knows the men around her would discard her the moment she was no longer beautiful, Tia is the only one that's there out of love(even though the mom abuses that love). I honestly think she would have died if Artezia wasn't around and that's why the mom doesn't want her to run off and get married. Tia is her only pillar of strength. Lawrence is the key to power, but Artezia is the only one keeping her stable(Let's be honest the King and Lawrence won't care about her wellbeing, the second she does some kind of irreparable damage they'll cut her ass off.)（￣へ￣）
