no, Herscherik one is already finish cause that one discontinued and the artist stopped but the author left it like that thinking maybe there will be a chance to continue in the future and yes, there is it ! this one, Herscherik R is the continuation of the previous series with different artist....
the other manga is finished, and covers the entire 1st volume of the novel. this manga covers the 2nd volume
Both artists are very skilled, but I personally liked Kitaguni Rato's version a little more. Even still, this chapter was beautiful in its own way, and I really enjoyed it. I'll obviously continue reading since the story is great too.
But the serious question is: because this is a sequel, does that mean the other one is completed? It says ongoing, but the author could have ended that arc there for reasons and then did a time skip to this one? I'm hoping that's not the case, and they're just jumping between arcs (or the uploaders aren't caught up to the other one yet?) since I want to see many uploads of both manga! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
