I think she just wants to protect her child cuz she knows the feeling of being abandoned by her father? I think instead of trying to get close and just abandoning them later, she just wants to not be involved with him at all. Or maybe she doesn't want to be married just because of the child, reminding her of her mom who resents her because of that marriage
Probably mostly the marriage because that connects with the father story. Considering that single moms and dads are highly judged in korea, what I totally don't get, I understand why people get married after a "mistake/accident". So FL is under a lot of pressure as of now
The FL is sometimes a little weird if you can call it that. I can't understand some actions sometimes. In general I get why she didn't want to get involved with ML, after all she has complicated family relationships and somewhat a trauma from it too. I think ML is doing a good job in this case, considering most guys would just forget or don't care. Him being consistent makes me think that he really cares and wants it to work out. It's pretty predictable that she is definitely going to be with him but I think it's still worth the read as this isn't something I ever read before.
Now let's talk about the friends of FL, I can totally understand why she felt hurt, I would too but I think she should have said that she feels left out. I guess I also don't like the red haired girl (the female bff) because she seems irresponsible and selfish but maybe that changes
