Huan Wen's story and character progress is so moving for me because I relate on a lot of levels. It's so difficult and suffocating when your family expects so much of you and you can't make yourself happy because you're scared that your happiness will break their heart. I'm not queer, but I know how it is to love someone unacceptable on your family's perspective that you have to hide your happiness and live a lie. I've been at it for 7 years now and it's so tiring. It's not so much as you don't have thr courage to love, it's that you love so much that you can't make a choice, so you sacrifice your own self - coz that's what it means to love.
