I think the purple one turned the white haired guy's soul into his earring bc white haired didn't need him anymore. Sorry, I'm bad with names, but that's my take on what happened the second couple.
Oh! So it was like that! (I'm also bad with names) i actually thought that the white haired guy was still alive but it didn't seem right at the end.... I knew it was this tragic....
