I used to wanna do medicine and I got into like facial aesthetics bc plastic surgery pays well lol— anyway this is what I learned. Babies, they have flatter faces, reduction of the brow ridge hairlessness, less muscle mass, smaller, legs, arms & physical size— these things make babies babies y’know and cute and that’s for all races.
But as we grow up we lose some of those characteristics, and how much we keep of loose is directly affected by ethnicity. Following this point of thought, as most East Asians grow up into adulthood they keep a lot more of these “childlike” characteristics, keeping a larger heads, flatter faces, thinner bones, hairlessness etc. And bc we attribute this stuff with kids and babies— cute— East Asians have those same connotations of youthfulness or in your words the Asian baby face. This whole thing is called Neoteny :))
