I bet you've never been bullied, I was bullied when I was a kid, it's been six years since it stopped and I'm still being affected by it, it ruined my self esteem and sense of worth, even if I try to let go, it will take years for the effects to go away or they might stay with me forever, it's more complicated than "just get over it"
I have been bullied before since I was eight for being overweight I've gotten over it but I understand that it takes time for people to get over something from being bullied
