you totally summed up how i felt about it! when that happened i was just like " uh... well... that's happening..." i wasn't expecting it at all and made me uncomfortable,,, but the rest of the story was nice so i'm gonna try to erase that from my memory lol

Well it's cute and all~ I like supernatural yaoi with concepts like this (animal characteristics). The bickering is cute but I wanted to see more lovey dovey scenes between them. Honestly felt uncomfortable when Kaede had to mate with Ren to turn him back to his human form since technically speaking, it's bestiality. I'm sure the author didn't want to portray it that way because the reason behind it is sweet. Well, this is just my personal take and I'm not hating it. It wasn't disgusting since the motive is good, just awkward for me. I've never even read yaoi when the characters have sex while in their half-human form, so mating in the pure animal form is uncomfortable for me.
