I emphatize with her though, since it's quite something new for her and a sudden change of the attitude from ML (sorta cold business aura thing) is suspecting (like why try if you're like that?), if that was me I would've straight walked away and we're done.

I also think she is actually trying, it's just that she grew up with her parents being like..you know, not really a lovey-dovey family thingy. And then she sees him being like them becoming family is business and so she is just trying as much as he is.
