I don't know, maybe it's just cause I know multiple people really close to me who've been in a similar situations with the abuse, but I find myself, like... moderately annoyed with Vampire Daddy and the whole dynamic he's currently got going on with Sooin?
Like, I know *why* things are playing out the way they are, and I like this so far and definitely want more, but I also can't bring myself to ignore that Chi Hwan is blatantly not listening to Sooin. Yes, it's sex, yes people sometimes say no and ask to stop without *truly* meaning it, and yes Sooin has asked for more and has said to continue earlier when they first started....
But he's kind of asking to stop or at least slow down now, and you won't...
Just, considering his abuse by Sungha for years on end that continued up until not even a full day before (let's not forget the still warm body in the room btw), I kind of wish Vampire Daddy would actually get clear answer of what Soon wants. Just clear consent, that's all I want!
Or maybe it is clear, and I'm reading it wrong????????
It's weird, I'm not typically bothered by this stuff but this one just made me pause for a moment. Maybe it's cause Chi Hwan is meant to be the good guy right now, when I'm usually used to reading consent issues done by characters who are clearly put in the role of "cruel antagonist"? IDK, but it's confusing my heart.
Still continued reading though, and most likely will continue after more chapters are released so.... ┗( T﹏T )┛. Whatever that means, I guess. Thought process over, I need marshmallowy fluff
