I totally get you - when she made that face just before the outburst in this chap (693) I was like 'Finally!!!!' I though sensei finally acknowledged her own growth in the series, she's in her own right a strong character! But no, all she did was say she loved Sasuke and got her ass so easily kicked - Again! - I really hope this ending manages to pleasantly surprise all of us…I'm a little disappointed that Kakashi and Sakura have to yet again sit on the sidelines : /
Although Kakashi didn't do much but he still help though, Unlike Sakura who did nothing but whining.

I just don't get it as a plot device - why have all these characters and then disregard them when it comes to the big finale - surely the girls and guys should be like, banding together to show Sasuke love or something and show him what being 'Hokage' is…It's exactly the same as it always is as if Naruto has learned nothing.
And yeah, Hinata…such a wet drip! It would be nice for one of these female characters to actually break the mould for once. Whats the point in creating the whole 'team 7' thing if Sakura's going to just whine like she did all those years ago be unconscious for a few more chapters! Gah!
How pitiful? you didn't have to say it like that, or reject her like that Sasuke?
What I hate in shounen manga, is the fact the make the majority of female characters pitiful, I mean take Sakura as an example.
