Totally agree and that’s honestly the only thing I’m worried about. I just hope the queen/concubines don’t try to get in the way of the two and cause unnecessary unwinable drama. Like understand that Paul and Lucius have a bond you just can’t break :,D

Everyone is upset with the ending, and though it's not the "ideal" ending it's definitely more realistic. I actually imagine Miss Paul being just fine with it because it leaves her free and not trapped to wear dresses, and still able to fight and lead etc. If anything she will be a powerhouse mistress and I'm kinda lookin forward to (hopefully) the emperor's women and her just being bros
