The memes are SOLID. The commentary they provide is definitely an enhancement to the story.
I know! I seem to keep running into this boring trope a lot lately with all of the manga and books I've read. The seme acts like trash, raping and degrading the uke, and then the uke lets it be swept under the bridge without any kind of apology at all! I'm so sick of this trope because you can have some really good character development and a very engaging story, but the authors seem not to care and just want to put a story together. I've gotten to the point where I'll either drop it or just turn my brain off for some good smut.

i really am annoyed by how easy peasy characters in these go along with super scary and traumatic stuff like this....and how the seme is like really mean mostly and an asshole, but they kinda like nag a lil but nothing much, but then he is a lil attentiv..boom all over and lovey dover and than comes stuff like this where they are like "what am i to him?"....you ought to see a human for what he DOES not what he might not DO....you are as you be...and you are being as you behave...and if someone behaves like a selfish asshole exploiting your as a weaker being, than it makes him just that....nothing else...if you go along because it feels good, you don't mind at all and you are ok cause he looks like an angel, than be it....but all this hypocrite stuff is so annoying....that is the demanding me...the other one loves the art, can read this superficially as a passing of time and to see cute manga boys have good sex and stuff while both enjoying it...hahaha..ha ha....
