I think so too. I think the spell and the help she was getting from Noah was to do this exact thing for her, give memory loss and make her the daughter of the marquis. But idk yet, gotta wait and see
theory time!! so i highly doubt ellen is actually tha marquis’ daughter cuz 1 she has no knowledge of nobel laws or etiquette im presuming (cuz she didnt know about the alchemy stuff) and 2 yall forgetting how a whole town casually forgot who eleanor was?? like what if she also manipulated the marquis’ mind to make him think shes his daughter but that still doesnt explain why she suddenly debuted when her goal was to be forgotten by society and die sooooo im more confused now lol please disregard my theory i think i just fahkin debunked it jssjjsjs
