I agree with you. They try to make the "story" reliable to people by giving an average/dumb/clumsy/innocent MC that everyone falls in love with but that's not human to have all that and they just ends up being annoying.
Bunny is more human, she thinks that she is normal while she is considered pretty (just like you said), she tries to be nice but not too much so people doesn't use her (well, besides her ex-bf), there is rumors about her but she doesn't care about it (she doesn't dramatically depress over it for 10 chapters) but she thinks about it from times to times and she does her best at her major without being the best in all the fields.
I enjoy her as a MC, she is one of the best out of all the shojo/Jose I I've read/watched
Thanks to Yeol we now know that Bunny is actually considered pretty and not ur average bloke getting boys left and right (shes obviously pretty if ur just looking at the art)
Like, I dunno how to explains this. Bunny is obviously pretty becuase the art is great, I think everybody “average” in this webtoon are still good looking simply because of the nice art. Like, we know in the world of this webtoon that the main guys are considered good looking cuz we’re told they’re good looking (despite the “average” guys still looking handsome, eg the seniors). But at the start Bunny considered herself to be okay looking (like she wondered why they approached such an average person) but’s she’s actually considered pretty hot in the webtoon world.
Such a long post just to say, and this sounds pretty superficial, that I’m glad Bunny is actually pretty. I just like having a lovable and pretty MC y’know, without the whole “I’m just an ordinary girl (who’s secretly gorgeous).....” trope.
