people are hating on this... seriously? i LOVE the main character. no one is born perfect. he's angry, but not stupid. he obviously has history fighting and winning/losing, and a hard backstory that we've only seen some of. people are calling him cocky and rude, but in my opinion, he is anything but. he's a kid, that has been through SO MANY unknown fights and has this desire to become stronger, probably due to obvious trauma and fear of weakness. he kept his promise to the girl to fight despite not being in good condition. he accepts this new fate, and doesn't completely blame the loss on 'if only i had my hands!' he seriously sat there and took it as a learning experience to gauge his strength and accept the current situation. what happened to him is sickening. the #1 dude? LOVE HIM. he seems like such a good character. i feel like him and the main character are either going to be best friends or the worst of enemies and it makes me anxious. obviously, the #1 comes from a good background. but it also seems like his family was the reason kazan lost his. so, two things can come from this. either he abandons his family and chooses the 'right' path with the main character on a hxh type feel story of best friends and getting stronger (for me, this is prefered) or, it seems like he may end of resenting the mc for some reason or another and eventually we'll hate him as an enemy or rival. who knows. i just hope they're friends at the end, honestly.
