from what i understood ryan implies that to get over being raped he did the film with mcqueen kinda like the expression you used one nail to take out another nail. mcqueen wasn't a rapist I think when ryan saying that mcqueen was no better he was probably referring to the romanticism mcqueen did about the serial rapist they did the film about. hope this made sense lolol ╮(￣▽￣)╭
