The way I understand it, judging from the fanfictions I've read about this (the concept is far from new), it's an alternate universe where people inherently (so through their DNA) have a sexual preference for BDSM. Instead of just a few people being into BDSM, it's a world where everyone inherently is into BDSM and they fulfill specific roles. Rather than comparing it to Omega Verse, you should see it as a different concept of getting people to fuck, lol.
Oh damnn. Makes sense. I don't think they should call it "sub-sex" tho . I think it's more like character trait or personality test / psychological type of thing. It's not literally fucking with their biological being?? But that's not how they portray it anyway. Let's see how it goes :))

How does this work,atleast omegaverse had some wishy-washy explanation of sub -sex but lik what about this. Is there only certain situations where the sub/dom behavior works or lik??! There are too many loopholes unless this is gonna turn out to be porn w/plot.
