I also think the same. I don't want the prince to be together with Tia because I really think he's a jerk for doing those horrible things to Tia from the past. I would rather let Tia be together with Carsian or Allen.
he was manipulated by Duke Zeke. Also he didn't really kill her father he lied to her hoping that she would use that to escape the palace. He wanted to set her free because he saw that she was suffering. When she stabbed him he wanted to exile her but Duke Zeke made sure that she was executed. Also he is the reason why she lost her child. He made the maids poison her and see to it that she couldn't have anymore kids. Long story short Duke Dick was the main culprit but Tia didn't know. @StalkerGurl18
That... sounds like a lot of... bullshit from the author’s part. I don’t doubt this happens, but this “crazy turn of events” seems like nonsense that the author pulled out of thin air to justify Tia and the Prince getting together. Like the author knew they wrote themselves in a hole and that the audience is not going to be happy with the two ending up together. So to silence criticism, they made this elaborate and seemingly way more egregious set of actions to justify and remove blame from the prince. The author even make a scapegoat just to clear the path.
Say what you will but this feels like weak writing where the author starts out strong with a murky vision of the conclusion and now scrambling their act together now that the ending is on the horizon.

By painting Tia as the villainess in the prince's eyes? yEAH..no, that still cannot justify what the prince did to Tia- Plus, the Prince contradicts himself from what you have said, he was the one who made her life insufferable so why would he go through all that to 'set her free'?
this was an easy plot device on the author's part but he was fed a bunch of psychedelic drugs that made it easy to manipulate him. he would go in and out of his drugged state (which would explain a lot of contradicting statements and actions he made) and would choose between duke zeke, who was like a father figure to him, and helping tia because i think he did like her but his inferiority complex with her made it easier for that zeke mans to just yeet those feelings away... imo i wouldnt want to be with the man who raped me, even in a drugged state but alas, we arent tia so yeah...

One more: why the fuck does the prince like her so much. Theyve met like a few times and hes already going to such lengths to comfort her and shit. Sure that incident in the past occurred but things like that; events like that that occurred when u were so young, if it was some sort of traumatic experience then YA IT DEFINITELY SHOULDNT BE THE CAUSE OF LOVE like WTF?? It doesnt make any sense to me. Yes, i know that we dont have ALL the details about it, but it shouldnt matter because they were like 4. To fall in love over something like that is pointless.
Tia has other good love interests she could choose from. She doesnt NEED the prince that fucked her over in her past life. What is the author thinking...
