I don’t think memory will be completely erased. Certain details of the memory however will slowly be forgotten such as what they were wearing, which bus they took to the beach and all the things they talked about..... but I don’t think Mafuyu will ever forget Yuki all together.
I'm not the type that like ppl keep bringing up ex, but I don't hate it for this one. Actually I wanted people to talk about Yuki, tho now he seemed to be a burden to the childhood trio. I feel like once people stopped talking about him, they will move on in time but Yuki will be forever left behind in the past. Like Mafuyu said, time will slowly erase the memory between them, maybe not in a year or two but eventually. Death is not the real end, but being forgotten is.
