I was laughing how in the previous chapter, Ibelina was referring to Alejandro as a "lamb being raised for slaughter" which kinda implies that she would be the ine slaughtering. Despite her acting all blushy, Alejandro is her prey hahahaha

    She didn't groom him at all. And while I get readers frustration with her leaving for several years because of the original plot, it was a really good thing she did. Original plot or no, now they know that it was real. That he didn't just imprint on the one woman (an older woman at that) who showed him kindness.

    Yes! Also the 3 year gap gives her a chance to get to know an Alejandro that wasn't the Alejandro she raised.

    (And personally that makes it better for me cause like yeah i know she didnt groom him but also she did raise him in some ways so theres that)
