the reason why yeonwoo acted that way because in yeonwoo's eyes , jaehyun helped out a lot by giving clear and interesting feedbacks on the game that yeonwoo and mr. kwon , his long time crush, worked hard for. Therefore , to yeonwoo , the game meant a lot to him. i guess , these are just my theories
I dont see how that explains why he acted so weirdly. He didnt know the MC was Lucia when he gave the plushie or when he hugged him. And this isnt something you do to strangers.......
Also.in the game, the way he was trying to know about Lucia's relationship and asking to.meet in real life. The author made himdo really suspicious stuff as if he was meant to be an antagonist/love rival, but in the end it wasnt the case and all his behaviors are unexplained.
i think the author did this so they could make into a "plot twist". idk i was also very confused at first but judging how they (the author and illustrator) even aknowlegded that they made some continuity mistakes maybe they were aiming for a rival first but then decided it wouldn't be relevant? idk really, it did have a few plot holes
Atleast it didnt cause drama, but his behavior was just way too much to just leave it like that. I guess it was too late when they changed idea and they couldnt think of a reason for what he did.
Lee Yeonwoo (the seme or the side couple if you prefer). Nothing was explained about his actions??? Its like the authors was teasing us to make him.look.like an antagonists but turns out he isn't and zero explanation for his actions.
1. He claimed he was interested in both Lucia and Easen, but in the end, he really didnt give a shit about Easen, he only cared about Lucia to make her a GM. Also why did he care about their relationship and faking to be interested in Lucia??? That was completely irrelevant..
2. Asking Lucia to.meet in real life...without context.....thats like asking to look creepy wtf
3. When he gave the doll to the MC at the cinema. Just what the fuck was that??? Giving a doll to an male adult that is a complete strange.
4. And then he disguised as a mascot forced a hug on the MC....
Also why did he end up taking the same flights as the MC?? The MC changed his flight so even if they planned it at first, its weird they ended up on the same flight. And why did he come back at the same time??? The guy took.a JOB in america and the MC took.a program. They should not even see each other much.
If anyone actually understood something that could explain, please do. Because right now, im very disappointed by all these plotholes mainly used to make it look like he was going to do something.
So far it looks like Yeonwoo knew that the MC was Lucia right from.the beginning. And that he was romantically interested. Gave him a doll and forced a hug because he is the cliché creepy in love. Offered the job to get closer. And then invited the MC to america to destroy his couple (from the beginning he gave off the feeling he wanted to test their relationship).
All this makes sense, but then the author throw at us : but he actually likes someone else.
