Parenthood is extremely selfish. If you aren't going to care and love for a child, don't have one in the first place. I hate that I was forced to exist in this world. However, if you look at it from her perspective, her child is a burden preventing her from living her life. She's not the only one at fault, with the father abandoning them as well. Parents are selfish and want to have their own lives too. Society does expect a lot of sacrifices from mothers unfortunately.

i dont agree with this at all. you can't put ALL the blame on the equally shitty father. they both failed their son. just because they didn't make their relationship work doesn't mean it justifies their absolute neglect of their baby.

When parents relationship didn't work, their innocent child will become a victim. I blame the parents. And mom who want to escape from the hardships leaving that child alone without any contact for years.. only came from nowhere when she wants to get married. it seems selfish to me. Idk

I think you're misunderstanding my comment? I said they're both to blame, and that's she's selfish. Please read correctly. I literally said don't have a child in the first place if you are not able to care for it. My first sentence literally says parenthood is selfish. I said from HER perspective, a child can be a burden. Please read correctly. I didn't justify her actions. I called her out for it.

completely agree. she's such an asshole. and what's even sadder she doesn't even mean it when she asked him to come with her and her new husband. she did it out of guilt.
