I don’t know how to feel about this...

First I keep reading shit on here about how they hate the lead female, and I get she can be a bit annoying but I don’t See where all the hate is coming from.
1. She never asked to come to this other world, she literally tripped and then was whisked away to an unknown place that males basically pester you and sexually harass you until you find someone who is stronger then them to mate with.
2. Everyone is hating on her because she’s being nice to other men... like seriously? She came from a world where men and women can be friends, and care about one another and it not be sexual. And as stated prior she didn’t ask to come to this world, she can’t just change who she is just because that’s the way ‘this’ world works.
3. Curtis basically kidnapped her and then forced? Her to get pregnant? It’s really confusing and I don’t know why it was written in but I guess she took something to get rid of the fetuses? And he’s not even interested in children, his own kids! Because that’s the only way to get her to stay with him. And she was super freaked out because she didn’t want to have snake babies, which I don’t blame her for...
-some of you and even I; my children are my children no matter what or who I fall in love with. But for some people it’s scary and disturbing. And she was clearly not interested but he kept pushing.
4. She stated over and over she only wanted one partner, and yes now she has two: for now, but that’s only because she kept being pushed by all the men around her. Basically being guilt tripped into having sex to have cubs and in a world where having several partners is normal the snake is being way to possessive considering he snatched her away from the beginning anyway.

She wasn’t actually pregnant when she had the “abortion”. It was all a lie. He forced his like, mate mark or whatever onto her so he could find her, but it said so before that snake clan members could bond differently than others (i.e no sex). The first time they had sex was when she actually ended up pregnant after consenting.
I agree on most counts and ofc I don’t justify the fact most of the men pushed themselves onto her, but though she only wanted one partner she had stated that she has affections for both of her partners. The two partners aren’t a for now thing, it’ll be throughout the story since this one’s about polyamory (actually, from what i’ve read from those who’ve read the original work, I understand more partners will eventually join the system)— not that it’s necessarily portrayed in a healthy/ accurate light.
Again, I’m not justifying a lot of the stuff that’s happened, just clarifying. I do agree that as far as female leads can go this one really isn’t that bad.
